SUMMARY:19th Annual Kelly Shires Breast Cancer Snow Run
DESCRIPTION:THE MAIN EVENT\nFeb 2 – 4\, 2018 Hidden Valley Resort\, Huntsville\, Ontario\n\n\n\nJoin us for the 18th annual Kelly Shires Breast Cancer Snow Run\, an all-women snowmobile event to raise funds for women with breast cancer. As always\, we will have some extra special surprises for everyone who participates! \nOn Friday\, the meet’n’greet\, will kick-off the weekend in Kelly style with a wonderful evening of munchies and good times! This is a great opportunity to meet new people and catch up with old friends! We will introduce your Team Leaders and Sweeps to you\, reminders of trail rules and signals as well as fun prizes\, draws and give-aways. Be ready to start off a weekend of fun! Make sure you join our facebook group “The Kelly Shires Breast Cancer Foundation” to keep up to date on the event. \nThe ride departs Resort at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday after opening ceremonies and a moment of silence in honor of our friends who have lost their battle with breast cancer. There are four team levels to choose from: \nTEAM TURTLE (for beginners or sight-seers)\nBOSOM CRUISERS – for those who wish a shorter route and a few extra stops\nTEAM ROCK (this was Kelly’s team and love to have fun on the trails)\nDREAM TEAM (a fun riding aggressive team)\nHOOTER HAULERS (experienced riders that love to ride on the edge) \nEach team travels a round trip route of approximately 150 kms weather & trail conditions permitting. Teams will depart the resort in the morning and enjoy a fun morning of riding on the trails. Team Leaders will do their best to point out some great sights along the way. All 4 Teams will meet together at lunchtime and enjoy lunch together. \nAfter lunch\, each team heads off on the beautiful trails to end up back at the resort late in the afternoon! \nThen it’s time to fluff the helmet head\, grab a quick shower and get ready for the Saturday evening gala. The evening begins with cocktails and a chance to talk to your fellow sledders and catch up on everyone’s day! Relax through wonderful buffet dinner while you enjoy the evenings awards\, speeches\, live auctions\, silent auctions with some surprise prizes and the grand finale of the raffle for the snowmobile.
